Clearlight’s Mindful Yoga is a synthesis of her 30 years of yogic study and practice. She offers a unique approach that addresses not just the needs of women's bodies, but women's energetic anatomy, emotions and healing, and the quest to find meaning and peace in this lifetime.
Clearlight's teachings empower women and families to build wellness, resiliency and vitality through the combination of a mindful approach to movement and practical core-strengthening work, accessible and beneficial breathwork, and the integration of nondual wisdom teachings and iRest® Yoga Nidra. These classes draw from a lifetime engagement with Hatha Yoga, Pilates-Inspired Bodywork, and last, but absolutely not least, Nondual Wisdom teachings as embodied by BodySensing and Yoga Nidra meditation.
Mindful Yoga supports a wide variety of experiences. Some participate in the practices to improve the health of their bodies, some to reduce the stress in their lives, some to nourish spiritual or meditative inquiry... and some to deepen the exploration of wellbeing that naturally emerges from practice.
The classes invoke a celebration of life – its beauty and its challenges – and provide an opportunity to dive more deeply into the preciousness revealed in the present moment through the experience of movement in the body and meditative inquiry.
All are welcome to these classes, although they are not intended or recommended for pregnancy. Most people who attend identify as women, however men are welcome too - especially family members! There are occasional practices that are specifically women-only, but this would be indicated in advance on the registration page.
The classes are friendly and genuinely non-competitive. The group shares the understanding that the movements are meant to serve the needs of the body, and that every individual is different in their own unique way.
Because the practices are given online (live-streamed and recorded), it is important that you are able to take responsibility for your own body and wellbeing.
